Thanks to the hard work and generosity of many River Region Republicans, the Campaign Headquarters is now open Monday - Friday at the old Henry Tile storefront on Vaughn Road (near Office Depot). If you haven’t already been, please stop in and pick up yard signs, push cards and get a dose of our GOP volunteer spirit! CCRW’s own Anita Giordano and husband Richard manage the staffing and can always use your help. If you have a few hours of free time to lend a hand, please call Anita and Rich at 270-2712 or 239-9588. Put a sign in your yard today!

September 24 Luncheon Meeting

11:30 a.m.

Capitol City Club

Cost is $22 per person

Join us for lunch! Our speaker is Alabama GOP Executive Director John Ross. Prior to joining ALGOP, he served as district field representative for Congressman Robert Aderholt. In 2002, he worked as a policy analyst on Governor Riley’s campaign and also served on Governor Riley’s Inaugural Committee.

Reservations can be made by emailing Donna Robins at dlrobins@knology.net no later than noon on Tuesday, September 22. Many thanks to Super Suppers, located at Peppertree Shopping Center, for a gift certificate which will be our door prize.

Help us provide the necessary school supplies to area students by contributing to our Caring for America Program at our September meeting. You can either bring school supplies or write a check to CCRW to purchase them. Let’s help our students have the tools they need to be successful!

AFRW and NFRW like to know how much time we actually give to the GOP cause, and award prizes at the annual AFRW Conference to the clubs whose volunteers are the most active. Your membership includes a newsletter with updates of Republican activities in our community. As a member of CCRW, you are automatically a member of the National Federation of Republican Women; an organization founded in 1938.
